Seminole Trails District-- 2009 Centennial Quality District!

Congratulations to all members of the 2009 Seminole Trails District for achieving Quality District! Thank you to all the leaders and parents who helped make this possible. It takes a lot of work by many hands in order to reach this status, and you have done a great job! 71% of our units also earned Centennial Quality Unit!  Great work to each member of the district who helped make this happen, and to David Doudney and Harvey Francisco for their leadership!

NEW Seminole Springs District!

It is an exciting time in Seminole County as we now have grown together to form a district with over 70 units, and 2,600 youth being served! Roundtables are held at 7:00 at the LDS church in Lake Mary on the 3rd Thursday of each month! I hope to see you all there!

Friends of Scouting:

All units should have their Friends of Scouting presentation scheduled now, and a few units have all ready presented! We are off to a great start, as this is a vital part of the success of our district and council. We need each family to participate for us to reach our goal and support the 2,600 youth that we serve in Seminole County.

District Committee help:

With our new District we have a number of openings on the District Committee and Commissioner Staff that we could use your help. Some are small time specific jobs, while some are a little larger. If you have some time and ability to help out, please let Randy know at randy.steil@cflscouting.org!  We will continue to grow and shoot for yet another Quality District in 2010!
